MG Motor India is gearing up for the launch of its first car in India, the Hector SUV, in June 2019. This midsize SUV will be taking on the likes of the Jeep Compass, Hyundai Tucson and Tata Harrier. The brand will have around 120 sales and service points across the country when the Hector is launched here.
As a part of its preparation for the launch, MG plans to employ a higher number of women professionals in order to build a gender-diverse workforce. In order to achieve that goal, the carmaker has partnered with Indian human resource and talent acquisition agency called PeopleStrong. Some of the key roles to be offered to women candidates will include front- and back-end showroom operations, service, sales and management as well as finance, IT and others.
