It is also offered with Merc’s Interior Assistant System that uses a camera to capture the movements of the hand of both the driver and the co-passenger as it approaches the touchscreen or touchpad on the centre console.
The facelifted GLC also gets Augmented Video tech that uses a camera (located at the back of the rearview mirror) to capture the surroundings and show information regarding traffic signs and navigation on the infotainment display. A 360-degree camera, push-button start, driving modes and a panoramic sunroof are also a part of the feature list.
Safety features on offer include seven airbags, adaptive cruise control, active steering assists with active lane keep assist, active blind spot assist, and active brake assist.
